Effect
Apitussic is a syrup for children from 6 years and adults. It has an expectorant effect and loosens stubborn mucus in the bronchi. By stimulating the cilia of the ciliated epithelium, the viscosity of the mucus is reduced and its transport through the bronchi is facilitated. Pine honey enhances the expectorant effect of the syrup.

Inflammations of the upper respiratory tract, cough
Dosage
Children over 6 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 3 to 4 times daily
Older children and adolescents: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3 to 4 times daily
Adults: 10 ml (1 tablespoon) 3 to 4 times daily
