DosageUnless otherwise recommended by a doctor, in the first 4 to max. 8 hours: For mild diarrhea: 35-50 ml/kg body weight. For moderate diarrhea (5-10% body weight loss): 50-100 ml/kg body weight. For breastfed infants, continue breastfeeding as needed in parallel with the use of HiPP ORS from the beginning. In case of vomiting, give HiPP ORS 200 in small amounts and at short intervals, e.g., every 5-10 minutes. After successful rehydration and improvement of stool, return to the usual diet as soon as possible.
