Nurofen for Children – a medicine with pain-relieving, fever-reducing, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. For rectal use.
For children weighing 6 to 8 kg (3–9 months): Initial dose: 1 suppository. If needed, 1 more suppository after 6 to 8 hours. Do not use more than 3 suppositories within 24 hours.
For children weighing 8 to 12.5 kg (9 months to 2 years): Initial dose: 1 suppository. If needed, 1 more suppository after 6 hours. Do not use more than 4 suppositories within 24 hours.
If fever and pain persist or worsen despite taking this medicine, or if taking this medicine is required for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.
Composition
The active ingredient is ibuprofen. 1 suppository contains 60 mg ibuprofen. Excipients: hard fat (Witepsol H15), hard fat (Witepsol W45).
