Properties
The effectiveness of the preparation is based solely on its many years of use and experience. The ingredients of the preparation have anti-inflammatory and anesthetic effects.
Dosage
Apply a small amount of gel (about the size of a pea) to the gums with a clean finger or a cotton swab and gently massage in. Use 2-3 times daily, especially after meals or after oral hygiene before bedtime. In case of acute teething symptoms, use for a short period (no longer than a few days). If there is no improvement after 7 days or the patient feels worse, a doctor should be consulted. The gel should only be used as needed. It can be used throughout the entire period of milk tooth eruption (the same applies to the eruption of molars). The preparation should not be used in infants under 3 months of age. It should also not be used in infants under 12 months of age who are being treated at the same time with agents that cause methemoglobinemia.
Indications
The preparation is traditionally used to relieve discomfort associated with the painful eruption of milk teeth (gingivitis and pain).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of the preparation. Intolerance to chamomile or other plants from the Asteraceae family, lidocaine or similar local anesthetics (amide type). Hypersensitivity reactions to chamomile (e.g., contact dermatitis) are very rare. In people allergic to plants from the Asteraceae family (e.g., mugwort), cross-reactions may occur. Due to the sorbitol content, the medicine should not be used by patients with rare hereditary fructose intolerance. The preparation should not be used in infants under 3 months of age and in infants under 12 months of age who are being treated at the same time with agents that cause methemoglobinemia.
