PropertiesHydrocortisonum Aflofarm is a medicinal product in the form of a cream for topical use. Its active ingredient is hydrocortisone acetate, which has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects. Hydrocortisonum cream is used for the local treatment of:
- atopic dermatitis,
- lichen erythematosus,
- erythema multiforme,
- lichen planus with severe itching,
- seborrheic dermatitis,
- various types of eczema, especially lichenified eczema,
- psoriasis of the scalp and chronic psoriasis,
- prurigo,
- first- and second-degree burns, including sunburn,
- insect bites.
The medicinal product Hydrocortisonum is also recommended as a continuation of treatment after completing therapy with highly potent glucocorticosteroids.

DosageAlways use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times daily. Do not use on facial skin for more than 3 days. Do not apply to healthy skin. Do not use on large areas of skin without first consulting your doctor. This medicine is intended for external use. If symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement after 7 days of use, consult your doctor.
