Characteristics
Calcium-Sandoz + Vitamin C is a medicine for the prevention and treatment of the effects of calcium and vitamin C deficiency in the body.
Composition
The active ingredients are calcium lactogluconate, calcium carbonate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C). One effervescent tablet contains 260 mg calcium ions (1.0 g calcium lactogluconate + 0.327 g calcium carbonate), 1.0 g ascorbic acid.
Excipients: sodium saccharin, macrogol 4000, sucrose, sodium bicarbonate, anhydrous citric acid, beta-carotene, bitter flavor (Note PO 430/02), lemon flavor (Note 987.323 P05.51).
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water.
Adults and children over 7 years: 1 effervescent tablet daily.
Children from 3 to 7 years: 1/2 effervescent tablet per day.
Young children: as recommended by the doctor.

Indications
Calcium-Sandoz + Vitamin C is used when there is an increased need for calcium and vitamin C: in cases of decreased immunity, infectious diseases, during convalescence.
