Effect and Use
Lirra Gem is an antiallergic containing cetirizine and is used for allergic rhinitis and urticaria. Lirra Gem can be administered to adults and children over 6 years of age.
Use and Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor. Lirra Gem should be swallowed whole with water. The medicine can be taken with or without food. The recommended dosage of Lirra Gem for adults and children from 6 years of age is one tablet (5 mg) per day. Do not take the medicine for more than 10 days without consulting your doctor.
Contraindications
Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to levocetirizine dihydrochloride, cetirizine, hydroxyzine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Severe renal impairment is a contraindication for the use of this medicine.
