Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Protects against contact with animal allergens (dog, cat hair, etc.) that trigger rhinitis.
Effect
Polcrom® 2% is an antiallergic agent containing sodium cromoglicate. It inhibits the release of histamine and other cellular mediators during allergic reactions, thus preventing them. Preventive treatment should begin before contact with the allergen.
Dosage
Adults and children from 3 years: 1 dose in each nostril, 4 to 6 times daily. Treatment should begin at least one week before contact with the allergen and continue throughout the entire exposure period. Sodium cromoglicate is for prevention. The medication should be used regularly.
Contraindications
Do not use Polcrom 2% if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to sodium cromoglicate or any of the other ingredients.
