Description
Debutir Capsules – Food for special medical purposes, containing sodium butyrate in a mixture of acylglycerols (mono-, di-, and triacylglycerols), coated with a sodium alginate membrane. The innovative coating allows the sodium butyrate to reach the large intestine (colon). For adults and children from 7 years of age.
Indications
For adults and children from 7 years of age for the dietary management of the following conditions: diseases of the large intestine with atrophic changes of the mucosa, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), malabsorption with nutrient deficiency, weight loss or growth disorders in children, functional gastrointestinal disorders such as chronic constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, digestive disorders, diarrhea, nutrient deficiencies (insufficient fiber intake, low-fiber diet) and disturbances of the intestinal flora, including: after long-term antibiotic therapy, in the course of certain chronic diseases (pancreatic, liver, kidney diseases).
Instructions for use
Intake should be under medical supervision and according to individual needs. Adults: 1 capsule twice daily, morning and evening. Recommended duration of use: at least 3 months. Children over 7 years: 1 capsule daily, preferably in the evening. Recommended duration of use: at least 6 weeks. Swallow the capsule whole with lukewarm or cold water. Best taken with a meal.
