Characteristics
The medication Venescin in the form of a gel contains a dense extract from horse chestnut seeds, which contains 17% aescin and troxerutin. It is believed that the product, which combines aescin and troxerutin, acts on the venous vessels by, among other things, reducing their permeability and influencing venous tone. The gel has an anti-edematous effect. Venescin gel is used at the first symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency (for pain, heaviness and swelling in the legs, calf cramps, and for symptoms that occur after trauma (swelling, hematomas).
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as instructed by your doctor. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. For external use: apply twice daily (recommended use in the morning and evening). After application, gently rub in a small amount of the gel (about 2 cm).
