Characteristics
Magvit B6 is a medicinal product containing the magnesium salt of lactic acid and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride). Magnesium regulates the ion flow in the cell and thus reduces neuromuscular excitability. It interacts with calcium ions in the formation of bone structure.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Prophylactic: Adults and children over 12 years (adolescents): once daily 2 tablets or twice daily 1 to 2 tablets. Therapeutic: only by prescription from a doctor. The medicine should be swallowed with water.
Effect
Symptoms of magnesium deficiency include hyperactivity, difficulty concentrating and falling asleep, increased susceptibility to stress, and muscle weakness. Magnesium deficiency increases the risk of high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, heart attack, and cardiac arrhythmias. Vitamin B6 facilitates the absorption and transport of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract into the blood and then through biological membranes into the cells, and reduces the amount of magnesium excreted in the urine to ensure a normal intracellular magnesium pool. In addition, the amount of vitamin B6 contained in one Magvit B6 tablet is sufficient to protect the body from deficiency. Vitamin B6 deficiency in humans can manifest as inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, psychiatric disorders, convulsions, polyneuritis, and anemia due to lack of hemoglobin.
