Relieves the symptoms of hemorrhoids. When applied externally, the ointment has anesthetic, astringent, and anti-inflammatory effects.

Dosage
Adults: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, apply about 0.5–1.0 g of gel (a strip of gel about 2 cm long) to the affected area with the enclosed cannula or insert it rectally 2–3 times daily until the acute symptoms subside. The dose can then be reduced to once daily. Use the product until the symptoms have subsided. If there is no improvement after 7 days or if symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
Composition
1 g of ointment contains the following active ingredients: Horse chestnut bark dry extract (Aesculus hippocastanum L., bark (40–90:1), extraction solvent: methanol 90% (v/v)) 62.5 mg; lidocaine hydrochloride (lidocaini hydrochloridum) 5 mg.
