Properties
Hemorol are suppositories for rectal use in hemorrhoids. They are also used for chronic inflammation of the rectal mucosa as well as for irritations and fissures of the rectal mucosa. Hemorol suppositories relieve pain due to the numbing effect of benzocaine. The preparation also contains ingredients with local astringent, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic properties. The product is intended for traditional use in the above-mentioned indications. Its effectiveness is based solely on long-standing use and experience.
Usage
Adults: Insert 1 suppository rectally in the evening; in case of more severe symptoms, 2 to 3 suppositories daily.
The suppositories should be used until the pain subsides, but not for more than 7 consecutive days.
To remove the suppository from the foil, cut the foil vertically above the suppository and tear it open firmly. If a higher dose of HEMOROL is taken: If you have taken a higher dose or have not followed the instructions for use, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

– Dense extract (4:1) from belladonna root – 20 mg
– Dense extract (4:1) from: broom, horse chestnut bark, cinquefoil rhizome, yarrow herb – 80 mg
– Benzocaine – 100 mg
Excipients
– Glycerin (E 422) 150 mg
– Neutral fat up to 2 g
