Composition
Active ingredient dehydrocholic acid (acidum dehydrocholicum) - 250 mg.
Excipients:
dry extract from black radish root (10-15:1): [native extract (20-30:1) 50%, maltodextrin 50%, extraction solvent - water]
peppermint oil
microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, potato starch, povidone, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc, sodium lauryl sulfate, activated charcoal, Aqua Polish black 081.06 coating consisting of hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, talc, macrogol, black iron oxide (E 172), indigotin (E 132).
Effect
Rapacholin Forte is a medicinal product containing a composition of dehydrocholic acid with the addition of black radish extract, with the effect of increasing the volume of bile secreted (choleretic) and accelerating its transport to the duodenum. The increased volume of bile stimulates the colon and also has an osmotic effect, so the product has a mild laxative effect.
Indications
The medicine is used for insufficient bile secretion by the liver and for digestive disorders manifested by bloating, nausea, abdominal pain, belching, constipation, or as a mild laxative.
Dosage
For digestive disorders: Adults orally 1 tablet after meals, if necessary the dose can be increased to 3 tablets daily.
for constipation: Adults 2 tablets at once. A laxative effect can be expected for up to 6 hours.
Contraindications
The following contraindications for the use of the medicine should be observed: acute and chronic liver diseases, acute inflammations in the gastrointestinal tract, obstruction of the bile ducts and gastrointestinal tract. Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medicine.
Side effects
Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and other gastrointestinal complaints may occur.
