General Information
The adhesive cream is not a substitute for proper denture fitting by your dentist or prosthetist. If you feel that the cream is less effective than usual or leaks during use, consult your doctor. In case of recurring inflammation or damage to the mucous membrane, a dentist should be consulted before using the cream.
The use of a denture requires regular hygiene of the oral cavity and the denture itself. For this, we recommend cleaning the denture with Protefix® HIGIENA cleaning paste. The denture should be disinfected once a week with Protefix® HIGIENA cleaning tablets. When the cream is used correctly, small amounts may be swallowed naturally, which is not harmful to the body.
With the above method of use, the cream can be used for a long time.
Cleaning the Denture and Oral Cavity
Rinse your mouth with water. Move the denture gently and remove it.
If there are any cream residues on the denture or in the mouth, remove them with a cotton swab moistened with warm water or cooking oil.
Carefully clean the gums and palate with a soft brush.
Clean the denture of food residues with a soft toothbrush and Protefix® HIGIENA paste. Rinse thoroughly under running water.
Application of the Cream
Apply the adhesive cream to the clean, wet or dry denture.
Apply a small amount of the cream (in short sections), distributed as shown. It may take several attempts to determine how much cream is necessary and at the same time does not leak out from under the denture.
Insert the denture, press it in, and then bite down gently. The cream works immediately after application.
After opening the tube, oil may appear, which is the base of the cream. Remove excess oil by squeezing it out of the tube; this does not affect the adhesive strength.
Carefully close the tube after use and make sure that no water gets into the tube. If moisture gets into the tube, the adhesive cream may harden.
Ingredients
Mixture of sodium and calcium salts of methyl vinyl ether copolymer and maleic anhydride, carboxymethylcellulose, paraffin, vaseline, aloe vera barbadensis extract, colloidal silicon dioxide, menthol, azorubine, methyl benzoate.
