Indications
The remedy is traditionally used orally as an aid for mild diarrhea and externally as a rinse for mild inflammations of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.
For oral use in the form of a decoction
Pour 1 tablespoon of herb (approx. 2.5 g) over 1/2 glass of water, bring to a boil and simmer under a lid for about 3 minutes, then strain. Drink the freshly prepared decoction twice daily, making sure it is always fresh and warm.
For external use
Use the decoction prepared in the same way to rinse the mouth and throat.
