Properties
Sachol Dental Gel exhibits local anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antiseptic effects. These effects are due to the activity of the individual components of the medicinal product:
Choline salicylate - has a local anti-inflammatory and mildly analgesic effect,
Cetalkonium chloride - enhances the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect of the gel,
Methylparahydroxybenzoate and Propylparahydroxybenzoate - have a disinfectant effect.
Composition
The active ingredients of the medicinal product are choline salicylate and cetalkonium chloride.
1 g of gel contains: 87.1 mg choline salicylate (Cholinisalicylas) and 0.1 mg cetalkonium chloride (Cetalkoniichloridum).
Excipients: hydroxyethylcellulose, methylparahydroxybenzoate, propylparahydroxybenzoate, glycerin, anise oil, ethanol 96%, purified water
Dosage form: clear, colorless, uniform gel with an anise oil odor.
Dosage
Always use Sachol exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Sachol Dental Gel should be used 2 to 3 times daily.
Method of application: apply a small amount of gel to the affected area and gently rub in for about 2 minutes. After application, do not eat or drink for about half an hour. Immediately after application, the gel remains on the surface of the oral mucosa for a few minutes.
Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Effect
The main component of the medicinal product - choline salicylate - has a local anti-inflammatory and mildly analgesic effect. Cetalkonium chloride enhances the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of the medicinal product. Methylparahydroxybenzoate and propylparahydroxybenzoate in the concentrations contained in the medicinal product have a disinfectant effect.
Indications
Indications for the use of Sachol are inflammations of the oral mucosa as well as erosions and ulcers of the oral cavity. The gel can be used for gingivitis or periodontal disease.
Contraindications
The medicinal product must
