Characteristics
The mineral toothpaste Sulphodent contains in its composition biologically active sulfur compounds S2, HS as well as ions Cl-, K+, Na+, Mg2+, Ca2+, HC03-, I-, Br-. The sodium chloride contained in the paste has an antiseptic effect, stimulates the mucous membranes, and increases saliva secretion. The mineral components of the paste have an astringent and anti-inflammatory effect and influence the renewal and regeneration of the oral mucosal epithelium. The use of the paste reduces bleeding and swelling of the gingival papillae, decreases the amount of fluid secreted from the periodontal pockets, and reduces the depth of pathological periodontal pockets. It does not worsen the inflammatory process in the periodontium.
Indications
Periodontitis (periodontal disease), gingivitis, prevention of periodontal diseases.
Ingredients
In 100 g of the medicinal product are contained: Active ingredient: sulfur-containing saline solution 36 g and mineral salt 1 g; Excipients: silicon dioxide 28g, glycerin 86% 23g, xanthan gum 0.7g, peppermint oil 0.7g, sodium lauryl sulfate 0.8g, sorbitol 7.2g, methylhydroxybenzoate 0.1g, titanium dioxide 1.5g, sucrose 1g.
Effect
Reduces gum bleeding, swelling of the gingival papillae, reduces the secretion of gingival fluid. Prevents loosening and tooth loss due to periodontitis.
Dosage
Brush your teeth 2-3 times daily with toothpaste and gently massage the gums with a soft toothbrush for about 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly after brushing.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients and to the excipients of the medicinal product.
Warnings and Precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Sulphodent. If there is no improvement after 10-15 days or if you feel worse, contact your doctor.
