Properties
Supremin is a medicine with cough-suppressing effects (reduces the frequency of coughing) for use in dry, non-productive, acute cough. Supremin is a syrup containing the active ingredient butamirate citrate. Butamirate citrate is a cough-suppressing active ingredient. It relieves cough by centrally inhibiting the cough reflex, thereby reducing the frequency and intensity of non-productive (dry, tiring) cough.
