HEXAGYN duo vaginal suppositories are a medical device that helps maintain the natural protection of the vagina and accelerates the restoration of normal vaginal flora. The content of hyaluronic acid and lactic acid helps eliminate symptoms associated with an imbalance of vaginal moisture and/or vaginal pH. Hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium salt in an amount of 10 mg/suppository has a moisturizing and lubricating effect in cases of vaginal dryness and helps restore the natural and optimal vaginal environment. Lactic acid – which is normally present in the vagina – promotes immediate correction of the pH value and facilitates the natural restoration of the delicate ecosystem of the vulva and vagina. Polycarbophil can continuously release H+ ions by interacting with the mucus in the vagina, thus helping to lower the pH of the vaginal flora.
Indications
Aid for the prevention and treatment of inflammatory and infectious vaginal dryness in cases of irritation, burning, and itching of the vagina.
Dosage
Insert 1 suppository per day – preferably in the evening before bedtime – for 5–7 days after the end of the menstrual cycle or as directed by your doctor.
1. Wash the vaginal area thoroughly.
2. Open the packaging and, after thoroughly washing your hands, remove one suppository from the blister pack.
3. Carefully insert the suppository deep into the vagina, preferably while lying on your back, to prevent the suppository from slipping out unintentionally.
