Effect

Indications
Lioton 1000 is a gel for external use. It contains heparin and acts locally as an anticoagulant, decongestant, and anti-inflammatory. It is indicated for the supportive treatment of superficial venous diseases such as phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, subcutaneous hematomas, bruises, and edema.
Application
Lioton 1000 Gel is intended for external use. Apply the gel to the skin 1 to 3 times daily. Place an amount of 3–10 cm on the skin surface and gently massage the gel in until it is fully absorbed. In cases of acute edema after blunt trauma, the gel can be used for up to 10 days; for superficial venous diseases, 1 to 2 weeks.
