Areas of application
For the treatment of symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency (such as swelling of the lower legs, calf cramps, itching, pain, and heaviness in the legs) as well as to support the treatment of varicose veins.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, adults take 2.5 ml of the preparation three times daily with a little liquid, preferably water.
Ingredients
Ethanol extract from fresh, unripe horse chestnut fruits (Intractum Crataegi Phytopharm – Hippocastani fructus recentis intractum) (1:1). Extraction agent: ethanol 96% (v/v). Ethanol content in the medicinal product: 52–62% (v/v). A single dose (2.5 ml) contains 23 mg triterpene saponins, calculated as aescin.
