Indications
Vidisic is used for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye syndrome (also known as dry keratoconjunctivitis).
Effect
The active ingredient in Vidisic is carbomer, a macromolecular water-binding substance. The medication is characterized by high viscosity and a physiological pH value similar to that of natural tear fluid. It replaces natural tear fluid in cases of impaired secretion.
