Composition
The active ingredient of the medicine is chlorquinaldol (chlorquinaldolum). One lozenge contains 2 mg chlorquinaldol. Excipients: citric acid monohydrate, sucrose, sodium carmellose, talc, magnesium stearate.
Indications and Effect
Chlorchinaldin VP is used locally for: bacterial infections of the oral cavity and gums, when the patient develops thrush in the mouth, fungal infections of the oral cavity and throat after antibiotic treatment. The medicine has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiprotozoal effects.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Chlorchinaldin VP is usually used at a dosage of 1 lozenge every 1 to 2 hours, but no more than 10 lozenges.
