This is a medicinal product with cough-suppressing effects for the symptomatic treatment of cough of various origins.
Composition
The active ingredient is butamirate citrate (Butamirati citras). 1 ml syrup contains 1.5 mg butamirate citrate. Excipients: sodium benzoate, liquid non-crystallizing sorbitol, glycerin, sodium saccharin, liquid orange flavor, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine is intended for oral use. Do not use the medicine for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor. A measuring cup is included in the package. Atussan should be taken before meals.
Effect
Atussan has a cough-suppressing effect and dilates the bronchi, making breathing easier. It is not addictive and does not lead to habituation.
