Envil Husten Junior Syrup 15 mg/5 ml 100 mlThis is a medicinal product in the form of a syrup with expectorant and mucolytic effects. The syrup thins the mucus in the airways and makes coughing up easier.
CompositionThe active ingredient of the medicine is ambroxol hydrochloride (Ambroxoli hydrochloridum).
5 ml syrup contains 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride.
Excipients – hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, liquid non-crystallizing sorbitol, glycerin, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, benzoic acid, tutti-frutti flavor, purified water.
DosageThe medicine is intended for oral use.
The recommended dosages apply to the treatment of acute respiratory diseases and for the initial phase of treatment of chronic diseases. For long-term treatments (over 14 days), the dosage can be reduced by half.
Children up to 2 years – 2.5 ml syrup twice daily.
Children aged 3 to 5 years – 2.5 ml syrup three times daily.
Children aged 6 to 12 years – 5 ml syrup two to three times daily.
The syrup should be administered after meals, not before bedtime.
EffectThe ambroxol contained in Envil Kaszel Junior Syrup has expectorant and mucolytic effects. The stubborn secretion becomes less viscous and less sticky. Coughing up is made easier. At the beginning of treatment, there may be an increase in the total volume of bronchial secretions.
