Fluimucil Muko 200 mg is an over-the-counter medicine in the form of granules for preparing an oral solution. It is suitable for short-term use for symptoms of an upper respiratory tract infection. Each sachet contains 200 mg of acetylcysteine, an active ingredient that liquefies mucus and purulent secretions, facilitates expectoration, and thus helps to clear the airways. The medicine can be used by adults and children from 7 years of age.
Indications
For short-term use in symptoms of an upper respiratory tract infection, to clear the airways by liquefying respiratory secretions and facilitating expectoration.
Dosage
Always take Fluimucil Muko 200 mg exactly as instructed in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist. Children from 7 to 14 years: 1 sachet twice daily.
Adults and children over 14 years: 1 sachet 2 to 3 times daily.
Dissolve the contents of the sachet in half a glass of lukewarm water and stir with a spoon if necessary. The prepared solution is ready to drink. It should be taken immediately after preparation. The last dose of Fluimucil Muko should be taken no later than 4 hours before bedtime. Make sure to drink enough fluids while taking Fluimucil Muko.
Do not use Fluimucil Muko for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor. If you feel that the effect of Fluimucil Muko is too strong or too weak, consult a doctor.
