Ems Salt is a medicinal product for the treatment of respiratory tract inflammations and bronchial asthma.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as instructed in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. For oral use: Dissolve 1 to 2 tablets in half or a whole glass of boiled water with milk or boiled, warm water. Drink the solution 3 times daily after meals. If you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
Effect
Ems Salt has a mucolytic and alkalizing effect. It contains a mixture of alkaline salts that stimulate mucus production in the airways. The sodium bicarbonate it contains alkalizes the bronchial secretion, making it more fluid and easier to cough up. A solution of 4.5 g Ems Salt (10 tablets) in 1 liter of water has a composition similar to that of natural Ems water.

Sal Ems factitium is indicated as supportive treatment for inflammations of the respiratory tract and bronchial asthma.
