DescriptionTheraflu Sinus is a medicine for relieving symptoms associated with sinusitis, such as headache, blocked nose, and sinus inflammation. It has a lemon flavor.
CompositionThe active ingredients are paracetamol and phenylephrine hydrochloride. One sachet contains 650 mg paracetamol and 10 mg phenylephrine hydrochloride. Other ingredients: sucrose, acesulfame potassium, quinoline yellow E104, sunset yellow S (E104), maltodextrin M100, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, natural lemon flavor, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate dihydrate, calcium phosphate.
DosageAlways take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Adults and children over 12 years: Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of hot, not boiling, water. Take as a warm solution. The contents of one sachet can be taken at a time.
If further symptomatic treatment is required, this dose can be repeated after 4–6 hours. 3–4 sachets can be taken daily.
According to the specified dosage scheme, the preparation may only be used continuously for 5 days.
If symptoms persist for more than 5 days or fever lasts longer than 3 days, the patient should consult a doctor.
For adults with a body weight under 50 kg, people with mild or moderate liver disease, Gilbert’s syndrome, dehydrated persons, chronically malnourished persons, people with alcoholism or liver disease, a maximum of 3 sachets per day may be taken.
