The medicinal product Tantum Verde Forte is a mint-flavored solution intended for spraying in the mouth and throat.
Dosage
Tantum Verde Forte should always be used according to the doctor's instructions.
The medicinal product is intended for adults, especially for people who cannot rinse their mouth.
The medicinal product should be used 2 to 6 times daily, with 2 to 4 sprays each time.
Each spray contains 0.17 ml of solution. The recommended dose must not be exceeded.
The medicinal product is intended for short-term use. Treatment should not last longer than 7 days. In case of recurring or worsening symptoms, consult a doctor.
Effect
Tantum Verde Forte contains the active ingredient benzydamine from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Benzydamine has a strong anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect and acts locally as an anesthetic and disinfectant. As the medicinal product is very well absorbed locally and reaches a high concentration in the inflamed tissues, symptoms subside quickly. The medicinal product is well tolerated and suitable for the local treatment of inflammation symptoms.
Indications
The medicinal product is used to treat symptoms (pain, redness, swelling) associated with inflammation of the mouth and throat, i.e. in bacterial and viral infections, laryngitis, inflammation of the mucous membranes after radiotherapy, after surgical procedures in ENT and dentistry, as well as after intubation.
Contraindications
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients of the medicinal product.
