Properties
When a patient stops smoking and the body is no longer regularly supplied with nicotine, various withdrawal symptoms occur, including irritability, anxiety, mood swings, dizziness, headaches, and sleep disturbances. Nicorette FreshFruit Gum can prevent or alleviate these symptoms by supplying the body with small doses of nicotine over a short period. The nicotine contained in Nicorette FreshFruit Gum is in pure form. Unlike cigarettes, Nicorette FreshFruit Gum does not release harmful tar or carbon dioxide, which are produced when tobacco is burned.
Indications
Nicorette FreshFruit Gum is indicated for the treatment of tobacco dependence by reducing cravings for cigarettes and withdrawal symptoms after quitting smoking.

You should try to quit smoking as soon as possible, but no later than 6 months after starting treatment. If a serious attempt to quit is not possible within 9 months of starting treatment, consult your doctor.
In general, regular use of the gum for more than 12 months is not recommended. Some former smokers may require a longer treatment period to avoid relapse. Keep unused gum for sudden cravings. It is advisable to consult self-help groups, as they can support quitting and contribute to the successful completion of therapy.
