Intractum Melissae Phytopharm is a herbal medicinal product for traditional use as a sleep aid and for the relief of mild nervousness. Its effectiveness is based solely on long-standing use and experience. The active ingredient is an ethanol extract from fresh lemon balm (Melissae herbae recentis intractum). The product is a liquid for internal use. It can be used by adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
Indications
Mild nervousness, sleep onset disorders.
Composition
Active ingredient: Ethanol extract from fresh lemon balm (1:1). 100 ml of liquid contain: 100 ml ethanol extract from fresh lemon balm, extraction solvent: ethanol 96% v/v. The ethanol content of the medicinal product is 52–62% v/v.
Effect
Calming, promotes falling asleep.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as instructed by your doctor, pharmacist, or healthcare professional. Adults and children over 12 years: Take 2.5–5 ml of the preparation diluted in a little liquid 3 times daily. If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 14 days of use, please consult your doctor. If you feel that the effect of this medicine is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
