Description
The Multi-TEST is a universal and rapid drug test strip that detects up to six different drugs in urine. It is an extremely practical diagnostic tool for home use and enables the detection of traces of the most common drugs such as amphetamines, heroin, cocaine, morphine, marijuana, and hashish. For the test, a sufficient amount of urine is required, which should be collected in a dry and clean container. A watch with a second hand is also needed. The test strip is dipped into the sample for 15 seconds, and the result is read after 5 minutes; after 15 minutes, interpretation is no longer reliable. The Multi-TEST package contains four test strips in a plastic sleeve, so a single test can be performed for all six drugs. This makes the test quick and easy. Four strips are sufficient for the analysis, as morphine and heroin are detected on a single test strip (result in the MOR window), as are hashish and marijuana (result in the THC window). A positive result indicating the presence of illegal substances is shown by a single pink line in control zone C. Please read the instructions in the user manual before starting the test; this is essential for correct test performance. Note that different types of drugs remain detectable in the body for different lengths of time. Marijuana and hashish can be detected for 5–20 days, amphetamines for 1–3 days after use, morphine and heroin for 2–3 days, and cocaine for 1–4 days.
How is the test performed?
The Multi-TEST is easy to perform and should be done with a fresh urine sample collected in a dry, clean container. The timing of sample collection is not important. However, if immediate diagnosis is not possible, the sample should be stored for a maximum of 48 hours at a temperature of 2–8 °C. In this case, it should be warmed before testing.
Note
Do not immerse the lower housing in the urine sample. The test strip should be dipped into the urine sample until the control lines appear in the result window. This process usually takes about 15 seconds. The urine to be tested must not come into direct contact with the result window. 1. Remove the protective foil from the test strip and carefully dip the test strip into the urine sample until the control lines (C) appear in the result window. The entire process takes about 15 seconds. Make sure that the liquid does not touch the lower edge of the test housing. 2. Once the control lines appear after 15 seconds, remove the test strip from the sample and place it on a flat surface. The final result should be read after 5 minutes. Please note that results read after 15 minutes are invalid. Be sure to adhere to the specified times.
