Properties
The ointment relieves discomfort associated with various types of mild post-traumatic conditions such as bruises and contusions, accelerates the resorption of hematomas, has anti-inflammatory effects, and relieves pain. Also to be used for muscle pain.
Indications
Traditionally used for various types of mild post-traumatic conditions, as a remedy to facilitate and accelerate the resorption of small subcutaneous bleedings (bruises), for edema after mechanical injuries, e.g., contusions. Traditionally, the ointment is also used for muscle pain after sports training and for massage.
Dosage
Medicinal product for external use. Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Rub a thin layer of ointment several times daily onto areas with minor injuries (contusions, bruises); for healing massage after intense physical exertion, use 3.0 - 4.0 g of ointment (approx. 5 cm ointment strip).
Composition
Thick extract from arnica and marigold flowers (Extractum spissum compositum ex: Arnicae et Calendulae anthodis; DER: 3-7:1; extraction solvent: methanol 90%) 20 mg/g; dry extract from horse chestnut bark (Hippocastani corticis extractum siccum; DER: 40-90:1; extraction solvent: methanol 90%) 12.5 mg/g.
