DescriptionTraumon is a medicine with anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects for the treatment of bruises, sprains, muscle and joint pain, as well as degenerative diseases.
CompositionThe active ingredient is Etofenamate. 1 g of gel contains 100 mg of Etofenamate. Excipients: Carbomer, Macrogol oleocetyl ether (Emulgin M8 Deo), Sodium hydroxide, Isopropyl alcohol, Macrogol 400, Propylene glycol, purified water.
DosageAlways use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.
- This medicine is intended for external use.
- For rheumatic complaints, use for 3–4 weeks.
- For blunt injuries, use for up to 2 weeks.
- This medicine does not leave a greasy film on the skin. Apply the gel 3-4 times daily, usually 5-10 cm of gel to the skin in the painful area and over a slightly larger area. Rub the gel in until it is completely absorbed.
EffectTraumon contains Etofenamate, a non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drug (NSAID). Traumon inhibits inflammatory processes, including exudative inflammations. It has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects.
Indications- Bruises, sprains, strains (of muscles, tendons, and joints) and other blunt injuries,
- Osteoarthritis – shoulder, knee, and spine,
- Extra-articular rheumatism – back pain, epicondylitis, changes in periarticular soft tissue – inflammation of bursae, tendons, tendon sheaths, and joint capsules (so-called frozen syndrome).
