Effect
Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drugs (NSAIDs) with strong analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces inflammation in the affected area, relieves pain, and reduces swelling. Menthol has a local anesthetic effect and also causes local reddening of the tissue. The combined effect of both ingredients provides very rapid pain relief after applying the gel to the skin, which lasts for many hours. The ibuprofen contained in Dip Rilif is absorbed through the skin in sufficient quantity to ensure therapeutic concentrations in the joints. Due to topical application, ibuprofen does not cause the typical side effects of oral administration. Menthol promotes the penetration of ibuprofen into the tissue.
