Characteristics
Ibupar forte 400 mg in tablet form is a nonsteroidal anti-rheumatic drug (NSAID) with mild to moderate pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects. Ibuprofen is absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract. Maximum serum concentrations of ibuprofen occur 1 to 2 hours after oral administration. Food and gastric antacids do not inhibit the absorption of ibuprofen.
Indications
Mild to moderately severe pain of various causes, e.g. headaches, including migraine headaches. Toothache, muscle, bone and joint pain, post-traumatic pain. Neuromas. Pain associated with colds and flu. Fever of various origins (including in the context of flu and colds). Painful menstruation.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or exactly as instructed by your doctor, pharmacist or medical professional. If in doubt, ask your doctor, pharmacist or medical professional. The medicine is taken orally. Adults and children over 12 years: The initial dose is 400 mg (1 tablet) once or 400 mg (1 tablet) every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not use a higher dose than 1200 mg (3 tablets) per day. Do not take the medicine for more than 3 days without consulting your doctor. If, despite taking the medicine, the pain and fever worsen or new additional symptoms occur, contact your doctor. If you feel that the effect of Ibupar forte is too strong or too weak, contact your doctor.
