Indications
Symptomatic treatment: mild to moderate pain, fever. The medicine is intended for children over 6 years (over 20 kg) and adults.
Side effects
The most frequently observed side effects affect the gastrointestinal tract. Stomach and/or duodenal ulcers, perforations or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, which in some cases, especially in elderly patients, can be fatal. After administration of the medicine, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, indigestion, abdominal pain, tarry stools, bloody vomiting, ulcerative inflammation of the oral mucosa, worsening of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease have been observed. Gastritis has been observed less frequently. In particular, the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding depends on the dose administered and the duration of treatment. Edema, high blood pressure, and heart failure have been reported in connection with NSAID treatment. The use of medicines such as MIG may be associated with a slightly increased risk of heart attack (myocardial infarction) or stroke.
