Properties
Opokan is an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving medicine for the treatment of bone, joint, and muscle pain during acute flare-ups of rheumatic diseases. It contains meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drug (NSAID), and is suitable for adults and adolescents from 15 years of age. Opokan has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist. Opokan is taken orally with a meal and some water. Take this medicine once daily (as a single dose). If symptoms worsen or persist after 7 days of treatment, please contact your doctor. Adults: 1 tablet daily. The maximum daily dose is 7.5 mg (1 tablet).
Indications
Opokan is used for the short-term treatment of disease flare-ups in rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
