Saridon is a combination preparation in tablet form. Saridon contains paracetamol and propyphenazone, which have pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects, as well as a small dose of caffeine, which enhances the pain-relieving effect of paracetamol.
When is Saridon used?
Saridon tablets are used for headaches, toothaches, menstrual pain, postoperative pain, and rheumatic pain, as well as for pain and fever associated with colds and flu.
How is Saridon dosed?
The usual dose of Saridon is:
1–2 tablets for adults,
1 tablet for adolescents aged 12–16 years.
If necessary, the dose can be repeated up to three times daily. If the pain lasts longer than 5 days, the fever lasts longer than 3 days, symptoms worsen, or additional symptoms occur, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. Do not use this product in higher than the recommended doses. The tablets should be taken with plenty of water or another liquid.
