Characteristics
Clotrimazolum GSK is an antifungal in the form of a cream, available without a prescription and intended for topical application to the affected skin. The active ingredient of the medication is clotrimazole, which has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity - it kills most fungi that cause infections in humans. After topical application of Clotrimazolum GSK cream to the skin, clotrimazole penetrates the epidermis, inhibits the growth and division of fungal cells, and alters the function of microbial cell membranes, acting especially on yeasts and dermatophytes.
