Characteristics
SQUAMAX Emulsion is the first preparation that contains lactic acid, salicylic acid, and urea together for the treatment of keratinization disorders in many dermatological diseases. It effectively removes excessive keratinization and facilitates the action of other medications.
Effect
Salicylic acid - has a peeling effect on the thickened stratum corneum.
Lactic acid - has an exfoliating effect by weakening the adhesion of corneocytes, which leads to the removal of keratinized epidermis.
Urea - has a strong moisturizing effect, increases the elasticity of the stratum corneum.
Excipients - stabilize the proper re-lipidation and hydration of the skin.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salicylic acid or other components of the emulsion.
Pregnancy, lactation period.
Age under 12 years.
Renal or hepatic insufficiency.
Do not use in bacterial, viral, or fungal skin infections.
Do not apply the cream to mucous membranes, lips, urogenital area, eyes, or skin around the eyes.
Instructions for use
Apply once daily for 2-4 hours to dry skin.
After washing off with warm water and shampoo or soap, other preparations can be used.
Repeat the treatment for several days.
