Medicine containing Peru balsam with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. The ointment is used for burns, frostbite, bedsores, and ulcers caused by varicose veins.
Composition
The active ingredient of the medicine is Peru balsam (Balsamum peruvianum). 1 g of the medicine contains 100 mg Peru balsam. Excipients: ethanol 96%, liquid paraffin, white petrolatum, emulsifier P 0090, purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The medicine is applied to the skin. Children from 6 years, adults, and adolescents: apply a thin layer of the ointment to the affected skin areas 2 to 3 times daily and rub in. If you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor.
Effect
The Peruvian balsam contained in the ointment has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects, i.e., antibacterial and antifungal.
