Effect
The heart drops contain extracts of lily of the valley, hawthorn, and valerian. The herb of the lily of the valley increases the contractile strength of the heart muscle while simultaneously lowering its frequency. The inflorescence of hawthorn has an antispasmodic effect on the coronary vessels and increases the blood flow to the heart. It causes a slight drop in blood pressure and has a calming effect. The valerian root reduces the tension of the smooth muscles of the blood vessels.
Composition
Active ingredient: The heart drops contain extracts of lily of the valley, hawthorn, and valerian.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents: on average, 30-60 drops 2-3 times daily. Older children: 20-40 drops 2-3 times daily. Due to the ethanol content, do not administer to children under 7 years without medical advice. Do not exceed a single dose of 3.0 g and a daily dose of 10.0 g.
