For flatulence and excessive intestinal gas formation, as well as for preparation for certain X-ray and ultrasound examinations.
Effect
Esputicon contains the active ingredient dimethicone, a compound with low surface tension that alters the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract. As a result, larger gas bubbles break down into smaller, more easily resorbable bubbles. When taken orally, it relieves flatulence and removes excess gas from the gastrointestinal tract.
Dosage
Usual dose: 1 capsule 4 times daily after meals and before bedtime or 2 capsules 3 times daily as needed.
Composition
1 capsule contains: Active ingredient: 50 mg dimethicone and excipients: highly dispersed silicon dioxide, gelatin, glycerin, purified water.
