Dosage
Adolescents from 12 years, adults, and elderly: Take 1–2 film-coated tablets in the evening with a glass of water. The appropriate single dose is the smallest dose that produces a soft, effortless bowel movement. The daily dose of 30 mg anthranoids, corresponding to about 2 tablets, must not be exceeded. If used for more than 1–2 weeks, consult a doctor.
Composition
Dried, powdered aloe leaf juice (Aloe capensis) with an anthranoid content of 18% (35 mg as aloin). Dry extract from buckthorn bark (Frangulae corticis extractum siccum, DER 5-8:1, extraction solvent: methanol) with an anthranoid content, calculated as aloin, of 15% – 42 mg. One tablet contains 10–15 mg anthranoids, calculated as aloin.
