Lactulose-MIP is a syrup. It is a disaccharide made from D-galactose and fructose. It is available without a prescription and has a mild laxative effect.
Composition
The active ingredient is lactulose.
15 ml syrup contain 9.75 g lactulose (lactulosum).
1 ml syrup contains 0.65 g lactulose.
Excipients: cherry flavor IFF 16-21-3618, anhydrous citric acid, purified water.

The dosage should be individually adjusted to the needs of the patient, the severity, and the course of the disease. Lactulose is taken orally. Use the enclosed measuring spoon to dose the syrup.
