Imodium Instant is a medicine for diarrhea used to treat acute and chronic diarrhea.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as instructed in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine is taken orally. The tablet dissolves in the mouth; wait until it has dissolved and swallow it with saliva. You do not need water to take it. When treating diarrhea, make sure to drink enough fluids.
Effect
Imodium Instant inhibits intestinal peristalsis and is an anti-diarrheal agent. Loperamide, among other things, reduces acute urgency to defecate.
