Areas of application
Stomach hyperacidity, damage to the gastric and duodenal mucosa caused by ulcerogenic factors (e.g. non-steroidal anti-rheumatic drugs – painkillers and anti-inflammatory medications often used for colds), gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Effect
Alugastrin® neutralizes excess hydrochloric acid in the gastric juice. It does not cause excessive alkalization of the gastric juice and does not stimulate hydrochloric acid secretion. It protects the mucous membranes of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum and relieves pain caused by hyperacidity.
Dosage
Adults and children over 6 years: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, take 15 ml (one tablespoon) one hour after meals and before bedtime or as needed. Shake before use.
Composition
15 ml contains 1.02 g sodium dihydroxyaluminum carbonate.
