Effect
The active ingredient of Controloc Control is pantoprazole, which blocks the enzyme that produces stomach acid. In this way, the medication reduces the amount of acid in the stomach. Controloc Control can relieve the discomfort associated with reflux disease (such as heartburn, acid regurgitation) as early as the first day of use, but it is not a medicine for immediate relief of symptoms. To achieve complete relief of symptoms, it may be necessary to take the tablets for 2-3 days.
Dosage
Take 1 tablet daily. The daily dose should not exceed 20 mg. The medicine should be taken for at least 2-3 days. Stop taking the medicine as soon as the symptoms have completely subsided. The tablets should be taken before meals, at the same time each day. The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of water, they must not be chewed or split. If you have any questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
When should CONTROLOC 20 not be used?
* If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to pantoprazole or any of the other ingredients of the medicine (see section 6).
* If you are being treated at the same time with atazanavir (for the treatment of HIV infection).
Notes
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Experience with use in pregnant women is limited. There is no data on whether the active ingredient passes into breast milk. The medicine should only be used in pregnant women or women in whom pregnancy cannot be excluded, or breastfeeding women, if the doctor considers that the benefit of use outweighs the potential risk to the unborn child or infant. Before using any medicine, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
